Campground
Red Rider Resort
A very nice resort with only a few sites. We met the owner and she gave us a nice history of why they love this area. The lake is gorgeous and she described the loons that keep coming back, the beavers and other wildlife that we all over. The lake is an old iron ore mine that was left to fill in with water; clear and deep. It was so nice to have a connector to the larger mountain bike trail system. Close enough to Crosby to ride in to visit a brewery, get groceries, etc.
Biking
Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area
This was an unexpected find. Our campground had a connector that led to this mountain bike trail system. They have done a wonderful job with it and it is quite popular.
Food & Drink
Cuyuna Brewing Company
Nice brewery right in Crosby. We rode our bikes to it. Next door, with a common hallway connection, is a nice Mexican cafe that reminded us of the Chipotle chain.
