Worlds of Fun Village
This is a RV park associated with the Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun entertainment parks. Roller coasters can be seen rising above the horizon. The campground and facilities are well maintained. If Mark hadn't gone to the baby shower (see below), we probably would have gone into the park and had fun!

Chef Tito's Mexican Restaurant and Cantina
A very nice Mexican restaurant with a loaded bar.
Hawg Jaw Que & Brew
Very good BBQ in a family-friendly dining area. Fun signs on the walls.
Jack Stack BBQ
This place was recommended by Barb's sister Deb, who used to live here years ago. It did not disappoint. The meal for two was enough to feed four so we took half home.
To make a long story short ...
There's a baby a-brewing
It is Oct 2023. Mark's daughter, Breanna, is 8 months pregnant. They are having a boy but the name is being withheld as a surprise. The timing of the baby shower is such that we are back on the road after spending a couple of months in MN. Had the shower been a few weeks earlier, we both would have gone. So Barb stayed with Polly here in Kansas City and Mark flew to Baltimore for a couple days.
The theme of the shower was primarily Harry Potter. There were several games and plenty of great food and drink. One of the games was to match names of guests with their infant pictures. Another was to find "horcruxes" in the house. Look it up.
Camille, Mark's youngest daughter, had also flown out from MN to spend some extra days doing some painting of the baby's new room. You really need to see this. Please look at the photos. There are several themes going on here. See if you can find them all; Harry Potter, Star Wars, The Mandalorian, The Avengers, Lord Of The Rings, FireFly, Star Trek. Breanna had some initial ideas she found on Pinterest and Camille took it from there. She's quite an artist.
I got to paint trees on one of the walls. With a template, of course.
